The Ocean Data Explorer is the central gateway to access, analyse and visualise the data in OcToPUS. An interactive web-mapping interface allows to combine and query the layers in space and time. A scientific toolbox grants access to explorative data analysis algorithms.
The Habitat Suitability Modeller provides access to state-of-the-art algorithms for habitat suitability modelling. Environmental covariates are taken from the OcToPUS database. Species occurrence records are extracted from the Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS) or can be loaded from own datasets.
